Electronics/CNC Maintenance Technician Urschel In business since 1910, Urschel Laboratories is a Northwest Indiana manufacturer and the global leader in food cutting technology. We are seeking an Electronics/CNC Maintenance Technician for our day shift operations in our Chesterton, IN production facility. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining and repairing CNC equipment that is used for machining along with troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of automated process machinery outfitted with programmable logic controllers. Specific makes of equipment include Mori-Seiki, Okuma, Mazak, Star and Makino. Starting pay is $31.81/hour. Urschel operates an advanced manufacturing plant that is clean, temperature controlled, and well stocked with tooling. Qualified applicants must be self-motivated and willing to assist in addressing all manner of facility maintenance tasks and must possess the following skills and background: • Minimum five-year experience in an industrial maintenance setting; • CNC electrical/mechanical diagnostic and repair skills; • Experience with Fanuc controls; • PLC troubleshooting and programming experience; • Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic and piping diagrams; • Experience working with electricity under 600-volts; • Basic computer proficiency; • High school education Benefit highlights include employee stock ownership plan, exceptional health insurance, generous vacation time, paid holidays, and 401(k) with employer contribution.
