Ron McFarland, owner of McFarland Homes, began his career in the home building industry, developing his skills as a trim carpenter in 1983. Having started his own business in 1986 as a subcontractor, he saw a need for a higher level of construction quality, value in pricing and customer service. This led him to build his first single family home in Munster and enter the custom homebuilder market. Since then McFarland Homes has designed and built homes in Briar Ridge, White Oak Estates of Munster among several other communities throughout Lake County, Indiana.
Bringing his skilled craftsmanship and eye for detail to each home plan distinguishes McFarland Homes. We introduced our custom home standards into the multi-family market with the Town Homes At White Oak Estates of Highland. The areas first all brick, duplex style neighborhood. Other McFarland Homes' neighborhoods include Hunters Glen, Prairie Ridge, and Prairie Estates in Schererville; The Golf Villas of White Hawk Country Club, Oak View Estates in Crown Point, The Woods of Weston Ridge, the Townhomes at The Gates of St. John, and Monastery Woods in Cedar Lake.
McFarland Homes' strives to offer innovations not only in the home plans but also the entire sales, construction and customer service process. We have researched and developed a scheduling system that allows a homeowner to know the date of their closing on the day we begin construction. Our full time, home care manager is a skilled carpenter with the knowledge and desire to ensure each home maintains our superior standards of quality.
The McFarland Homes team has grown to fourteen members, each skilled in their own areas to provide professionalism in all aspects of the company. Our shared commitment to be an industry leader in the designing, building and selling of homes in our area combined with their individual skills are the driving forces behind our success and each home owners happiness with their new home.
