Write a letter to the editor

We welcome your letters and make every effort to publish as many as we can and in a timely manner. We will only print one letter a month from the same writer. To ensure as many voices as possible, please follow these guidelines:

• Include your name, address and a telephone number so we verify.

• Letters should be 200 words or less, and may be edited for clarity, brevity, libel and taste.

• Personal view and guest commentary columns are encouraged. These columns should be 400 words or less.

• Only original material will be used.

• Open letters or letters to a third party will not be accepted.

• Poetry will not be accepted.
