Don Ellingsen, carpenter superintendent of the Pangere Corporation, received a Healthcare Construction Certificate from the American Society of Healthcare Engineering.

Jay Runyan, of Korellis Roofing, Inc., was named to the board of directors for the TradeWinds organization. Runyan brings to TradeWinds his construction background, along with his company's interest in community programs.

Valerie Ostapuchuk, a regional vice president with Premerica Finanacial Services, has expanded her office and moved to 1943 45th St. in Griffith.

Ruth A. Cramer has been appointed associate at Hoeppner Wagner & Evans LLP. Cramer will focus her practice in the area of civil litigation, employment law and employee benefit matters. Prior to joining the firm, she was a judicial clerk for Federal Magistrate Judge Ellen S. Carmody in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Cindy Finley, Chicago Title business account manager, was awarded with the 2005 Associate of the Year by The Lake County Building Industries Association. This award is the highest award presented by the BIA. Cindy has been an active member of the association since she began her career with Chicago Title in 1998.

Gloria Notaro, broker associate with Century 21 Executive Group, has recently decided to return to the sales arena. After four years of managing the Portage office and with 20 years of real estate experience, she will now work out of the Valparaiso office.

Gwen Kiser, director of relocation at Century 21, will assume the responsibilities as manager of the Portage office. She brings with her refined managerial and human resource skills.

Heather McGill will become the director of marketing and business development at Century 21. She will be adding relocation administration and corporate and builder relations to her existing responsibilities of director of marketing.

Joel Gorelick has been elected president and chief administrative officer of the Bancorp and its subsidiary, Peoples Bank. Gorelick, a native of Hammond, began his banking career in 1971 and joined Peoples in 1983 and most recently served as Executive Vice President for the Banking and Lending Group.

Curt and Katie Masson have returned to Northwest Indiana as representatives for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans in Valparaiso. Both Massons are graduates of Chesterton High School and Ball State University.

Glenn Wagner, administrator of the waters of Duneland, was elected to the board of directors for Indiana Health Care Association. Wagner has been involved with IHCA since 1983 and this is the second time he has served on the board of directors.

Paul Kooinga of Valparaiso has joined the Commercial Property Tax Advisors, Inc. as director of marketing, responsible for business development, client procurement and related real estate tax appeal services.

Laura Lockwood of St. John, Tammy Katalinic, of Munster, and Sheila Finn, of Highland, have joined Market Day Gourmet as consultants for the direct seller of foods, spices and kitchen accessories.
