Horse racing track reaches finish line

An Evansville-area horse racing track is planning an unemployment seminar next week for its workers after the owner decided to close the facility. Ellis Park had been open for more than 80 years. The Kentucky Horsemens and Benevolent Association is not allowing the Ellis Park signal to be sent to advanced wagering outlets. The track is in Kentucky, even though it falls on the Indiana side of the Ohio River.
