Darryl Cannon, Manager of the Highland Texas Corral, said the special steak seasoning and the staff hospitality draw customers to Texas Corral. "We really care and show concern that when they come in they have a pleasant dining experience," Cannon said. "We just don't put the food on the table; we check on our customers and make sure that their food is cooked right. We want them to enjoy their dining experience and come back."
Texas Corral offers lunch specials serving sandwiches, the Texas Club, country fried steak, steaks, grilled chicken breast and all you can eat soup and salad. The newest menu item is the turkey or ham and cheese Panini, a customer favorite at lunch along with the traditional burgers. Lunch specials run between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cannon said the restaurant's goal is to serve lunch customers their food within 10 to 15 minutes of their being seated.
