Dubbed "The Gateway to Michigan," New Buffalo, Mich., offers everything from shopping to windsurfing. At the end of the main drag is the Lake Michigan beach, for sunbathers, windsurfers, boaters, and the annual Ship to Shore Festival.
"People keep coming back to New Buffalo because there is something for everyone," says Viki Gudas, executive director of the Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce.
"It's a great place to visit for a day or longer."
