It's been about 60 years since Nick Maruszczak first started repairing washers and dryers in North Hammond and established Maruszczak Appliance Repair. Following his father's lead, Doug Maruszczak, Sr also had a thriving repair business prior to opening the Munster retail store with his wife Pam in 1987.
Since making the move from Munster to Schererville in 2008, the Maruszczaks have seen continued support from longtime customers.
"We are extremely grateful to all our loyal customers as well as the many new ones we have welcomed," Maruszczak, Sr said. "A big thanks to everyone who voted for us again this year - that's all four years since we moved to Schererville!"
