Third generation Welch Stop and Shop owner Ed Welch said customers keep coming back because of the high quality meat, great customer service and strict attention to detail. Welch's specializes in steaks, sausage, stuffed burgers and a popular private label ham. Their newest menu item is a wide variety of stuffed bratwurst.
Welch's also carries seafood, a wide array of deli meats, fresh produce and home-made breads baked daily. Welch's is open daily at 8 a.m., closing Monday to Friday 7 p.m., Saturday 6 p.m. and Sunday 4 p.m.
For busy families, Welch offers about 30 varieties of frozen pre-made heat and eat items ranging from Italian beef to lasagna and chicken dishes. Welch's father and grandfather passed away during the past year. "It is great to see that the customers are still loving us and still loyal," Welch said.
