Since Strack & Van Til began offering groceries to the region over 80 years ago, produce has been a focal point for the family-run business. Joe Kolavo, vice president of perishable operations for Strack & Van Til says, "Produce is all about quality, freshness, and carrying the variety our customers want. Typically we carry close to 1,000 different produce items in each of our Strack &Van Til stores day in and day out. If for any reason a customer of ours isn't completely satisfied with their produce purchase, we will replace the product and reimburse the purchase price."
