Hammond's Dan Hric worked the polls at Riverside Community Church on Tuesday, just as he had done for years. He said he's been doing since his father -- former 11th District State Rep. Paul John Hric-- was a candidate.

"It's had its high points and its low points," said Hric, who was volunteering for Mike Repay.

Here's Hric -- who was a precinct vice-committeeman for about four years --talking about he got started as a political volunteer.
