First inning

Drew Muren grounds out to third base. Carlos Mendez grounds out to short. Brandon Jones is walked on four pitches. Shelby Ford puts two Canaries on with a single to left. Chris Valencia hits a fly ball right to Gominsky in center (I think Gominsky moved a half foot to make the catch). MID 1st INNING: Canaries 0, RailCats 0

Danny Pulfer strikes out looking. Drew Martinez grounds out to second. Josh Romanski gives the RailCats a two-out runner with an infield single. Ryan Babineau reaches with a ball hit right to the shortstop, who then bobbles it. Runners advance on the E6. Both RailCats are in scoring position on a wild pitch to Craig Maddox. Maddox hits a dribbler back to the mound, ending the inning. END 1st INNING: RailCats 0, Canaries 0

Second inning

AJ Kirby-Jones strikes out swinging. Chris Duffy flies out to left field. A bloop single into shallow left by Stephen Branca keeps the inning alive. A wild pitch to Kevin Dultz moves Branca to second. Dultz singles into center, scoring Branca. Drew Muren flies out to center field. MID 2nd INNING: Canaries 1, RailCats 0

Wally Backman Jr. strikes out looking. Justin Gominsky flies out to right field. Zac Mitchell strikes out looking. Canaries pitcher John Brebbia has 3 K, all looking. END 2nd INNING: Canaries 1, RailCats 0

Third inning

Carlos Mendez grounds out to second. Brandon Jones pops out foul to third base. Shelby Ford hits a high ball caught by Pulfer at short. MID 3rd INNING: Canaries 1, RailCats 0

Derek Smith singles, he's the second hit of the game for the RailCats. On a pitch to Danny Pulfer, Smith is caught stealing second. Danny Pulfer strikes out looking, again. Danny Pulfer singles into left field. Drew Martinez flies out to right, leaving Pulfer at first. Josh Romanski singles up the middle after starting with a 1-2 pitch. Ryan Babineau grounds into a double play, taking out Romanski at second. END 6th INNING: Canaries 1, RailCats 0

Seventh inning

AJ Kirby-Jones is walked. He's moved to second on a ground out to first by Chris Duffy. Stephen Branca strikes out swinging. Kevin Dultz flies out to right. MID 7th INNING: Canaries 1, RailCats 0

New pitcher for the Canaries is righty Kyle Kingsley. John Brebbia leaves after 6 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 6 SO, 1 WP, he threw 91 pitches, 57 for strikes. Craig Maddox only needed to see one pitch from Kingsley to hit a homer over the right field wall. Wally Backman Jr. hits a double to right field (about three feet shy of where Maddox's hit went over the wall). Justin Gominsky lays down a sac bunt and the Canaries try to take Backman out at third base. That didn't work and now runners are on the corners. There's a meeting on the Canaries' mound. Zac Mitchell is walked to load the bases. Jeremy Hamilton will pinch hit for Derek Smith. Hamilton doubles off the wall in right-center, scoring Backman, Gominsky and Mitchell. That's it for Kyle Kingsley, who threw to five batters and gave up the lead. He's replaced by Kirk Klark, also a righty. Danny Pulfer is hit by a pitch. Drew Martinez hits a single that bounces off of second base and into shallow right-center, scoring Hamilton. Danny Pulfer scores on a wild pitch. Ryan Babineau is walked to load the bases. Craig Maddox grounds into a double play as Martinez scores and Babineau is taken out at second. Wally Backman flies out to left. END 7th INNING: RailCats 7, Canaries 1

Eighth inning

Kevin Brahney replaces Dustin Crenshaw on the mound. Crenshaw allowed one run, four hits and four strikeouts in seven innings. Drew Muren hits a single that takes a weird hop before hitting Danny Pulfer. Carlos Mendez flies out to right field. Brandon Jones strikes out looking. Shelby Ford flies out to center. MID 8th INNING: RailCats 7, Canaries 1

Alan DeRatt will pitch the eighth for the Canaries, replacing Kirk Klark. Justin Gominsky flies out to right field. Zac Mitchell grounds out to second. Jeremy Hamilton grounds out to short. END 8th INNING: RailCats 7, Canaries 1

Ninth inning

Chuck Fontana will pitch the ninth for the RailCats, relieving Brahney. Chris Valencia is walked. AJ Kirby-Jones hits an infield single, and a throwing error on Danny Pulfer gives Valencia third base. Chris Duffy strikes out swinging. Stephen Branca also strikes out swinging. Kevin Dultz strikes out looking. FINAL: RailCats 7, Canaries 1
