A play from Tuesday's RailCats game against Sioux City was deemed worth enough to put rookie Zac Mitchell on SportsCenter.
In the third inning of the 1-0 game, a ball hit by Leugim Barroso heads up the middle of the field looking to be a sure hit. Then it bounces off second base and into the waiting glove of Mitchell, who makes the throw to first to tag Barroso.
RailCats radio broadcaster and media relations guru Jon Mozes popped a video of the play on YouTube and tweeted that it should be a part of SportsCenter's plays of the week. As the series was closing down on Thursday night, he received an email from ESPN granting the request.
Mitchell's throw was deemed worthy of the No. 4 spot, and can be found late in Friday morning's broadcast, during the :50 to :55 block.
Or you can watch it on YouTube, right where ESPN found it.
