Indiana's airports continue to deal with the winter storm that resulted in more than 130 flight delays and cancellations. Indianapolis International Airport Authority spokesman Carlo Bertolini is expecting "some improvements" later today, but continues to urge travelers to check with their airlines. Officials at Fort Wayne International Airport say most of today's flights have been canceled. He says crews continue work to keep the runways clear and open. Bertolini says flight decisions lie with airlines as they battle the residual effects of the storm. In Indianapolis, WTHR-TV in Indianapolis reports Mayor Greg Ballard has lowered the city's warning level, but is still instructing people to not leave their homes.

Colorado Company Eyes Fishers

A Colorado company could be moving to Fishers. VoxLumen Inc., which is a luminescent technology company, plans to acquire a wholesale sign manufacturer. If the deal is finalized, VoxLumen intends to place an operation in the former Diamond Foods.

Press Ganey Adds Survey Company

South Bend-based Press Ganey Associates Inc. has acquired a technology firm. Press Ganey says the deal for On The Spot Systems will help it gather real-time patient feedback.

Upland Company Makes Acquisition

Upland-based Avis Industrial Corp. has acquired a Georgia-based manufacturer. The Harris Waste Management Group Inc. produces balers, shears and shredders.

Herron School of Art Announces Innovative Faculty Award

The Herron School of Art And Design has named the first recipient of its Frank C. Springer Family Innovative Faculty Award. Art Therapy Program Director Juliet King has earned the honor to examine art therapy and neuroscience studies to look for patterns and gaps in research.

Evansville Chemical Company Acquired

A Texas investment firm has acquired a majority interest in Evansville-based chemical company CHEM Group Holdings Inc. CHEM Chief Executive Officer Dave Carson says Owner Resource Group LLC will bring capital and resources to accelerate the company's growth.

Marshall County Adding to Industrial Park

Terre Haute-based Garmong Development Co. LLC has entered into a public-private partnership with the city of Plymouth and Marshall County to build a shell building. The facility in the PIDCO Industrial Park is expected to be complete this summer.

First Financial Expands to Fort Wayne

Cincinnati-based First Financial Bancorp has entered the Fort Wayne market. The company plans to add its "full line" of services this year in the Allen County city.

hhgregg Preliminary Sales Miss Target

Indianapolis-based hhgregg Inc. says preliminary sales results for its fiscal third quarter were "significantly below" expectations. The company plans to update its guidance later this month.

Health Coalition Searching For CEO

The Indianapolis-based MESH Coalition is conducting a national search for a chief executive officer. Bobby Courtney will serve in the role on an interim basis. He succeeds Chad Priest who has been named assistant dean of operations and community partnerships at the Indiana University School of Nursing.

Manufacturer Looks to Fill Positions

Northeast Indiana Works will hold a hiring event tomorrow for a South Whitley-based building manufacturer. Whitley Manufacturing is looking to fill 20 positions including electricians, plumbers and welders.
