Velocity Indiana is set to mark its anniversary Thursday. The Jeffersonville-based entrepreneurial leadership organization says it has mentored more than three dozen startups and served 30 tenants in its coworking space during its first year.

STEM Program Joins National Partnership
A state network focusing on science, technology, engineering and math education is now part of a national program designed to train 100,000 teachers in those fields by 2012. Green BEAN Adds Another Market
Indianapolis-based Green BEAN Delivery continues to grow. The grocery delivery company is expanding to the Batesville-Oldenburg area. It already has more than 15,000 customers in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Missouri.
Monroe County Touting Tourism
A study released by Visit Bloomington suggests the area's tourism industry supported more than 4,100 jobs in 2013. The organization says the industry also accounted for an increase in sales in 2013.
