Kimball posts higher profit
Jasper-based Kimball International Inc. is reporting fiscal second quarter net income of $4.2 million, compared to $3.2 million for the same period a year earlier. Chief Executive Officer James Thyen says the results are strong despite a customer going out of business and an impaired investment in a start-up company.
