Worksite Health & Wellness Solutions LLC has announced its affiliation with the Indiana Manufacturers Association and selection of HealtheAccess Clinics LLC as an approved clinic provider.
William H. Cummins, President and CEO of HealtheAccess Clinics, said the company believes in a strong integrated clinic model that focuses on the patient.
The company has two clinics in Portage and two in Valparaiso. With the relationship with the manufacturers association established, clinics could open in Lake and LaPorte counties, and additional clinics could open in Porter County.
Manufacturers will be able to offer employees access to the clinics for primary physician health care, occupational health and wellness services at little or no cost to employees and their families.
Manufacturers who associate with the alliance will receive integrated health, wellness and occupational services at discounted pricing.
All services will be integrated with their existing health care coverage, according to the company. Worksite Health & Wellness Solutions has been selected to coordinate the effort.
Cummins said the clinics are one-stop shopping, because of the services they offer.
The goal is to avoid situations where people require costly care and medication, by looking for early indicators of illness and educating patients on steps they can take, such as changes in diet and exercise, before a condition develops, Cummins said.
