HAMMOND | Health care and the Affordable Care Act are the focus of the upcoming Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce expo and luncheon.
A panel of experts will discuss the Affordable Care Act and clarify what business owners need to know to comply with the legislation.
The ninth annual event starts with registration at 11 a.m. Sept. 26 at Dynasty Banquet Center, 4125 Calumet Ave. Lunch is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the business expo following immediately until 6. Business after-hours and networking will last from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Jim Dedelow from WJOB will moderate the discussion, which will feature Beth Auterman from CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, JoAnn Birdzell from St. Catherine Hospital, Will Glaros from Employer Benefits System, Thomas Gryzbek from Franciscan St. Margaret Health hospitals, Ian McFadden from Methodist Hospitals and state Rep. Mara Candelaria Reardon, D-Munster.
