PAD is a progressive narrowing of the arteries in the leg that can cause pain while walking, fatigue and poor circulation in the legs and feet.

The event takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, 1040 Ridge Road.

PAD affects 8 million to 12 million Americans. When left untreated, it can have startling consequences including amputation and death.
