NIPSCO's Dan Babcock to be honored at The 2018 Rail Supply Chain Summit

NIPSCO Economic Development Director Don Babcock will be honored with the 2018 Diolkos Award at the eighth annual Rail Supply Chain Summit in Chicago next month.

The 2018 Rail Supply Chain Summit takes place May 16 at the Union League Club in Chicago. The annual daylong conference is an opportunity for business people from Northwest Indiana and the Chicago metropolitan area to learn about prospects and intermodal opportunities in the railroad industry.

Keynote speakers will include Port of Chicago Executive Director Clayton Harris III, Paducah & Louisville Railroad President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas Garrett, BNSF Group Vice President-Industrial Products John Miller, Port New Orleans President and Chief Executive Officer Brandy Christian, Waterways Council President and Chief Executive Officer Mike Toohey, American Short Line and Regional Railroads President and Chief Executive Officer Linda Darr, American Patriot Holdings executive member Robert McCormack, Kansas City Southern Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Brian Hancock and Vickerman & Associates President and Chief Executive Officer John Vickerman.

The conference includes educational presentations, breakout sessions, breakfast and lunch, and networking opportunities aimed at helping those in the transportation industry grow their business.
