Sen. Joe Donnelly, D-Indiana, will swing by the Region to give an update on what's going on in the the U.S. Senate.

Donnelly will speak between 8 and 9 a.m. Friday at the Crossroads Regional Chamber of Commerce, 440 West 84th Drive in Merrillville, as part of First Financial Bank's Morning Business Hour series.

"Senator Joe Donnelly has brought a bipartisan, pragmatic approach to the U.S. Senate, where he is working to solve problems and address issues important to Hoosiers and the country," First Financial Bank said in a news release. "He has represented Indiana in the U.S. Senate since 2013, and serves on the Armed Services, Banking, Agriculture, and Aging Committees. Prior to serving in Congress, Joe helped run a small business."

Previous speakers in First Financial's ongoing series have included Strack & Van Til CEO Jeff Strack, Albanese Confectionery CEO Scott Albanese, Gary Bishop Donald Hying and Theresa Badovich and Robin Carlacio from the Idea Factory.
