HAMMOND | The hospitality division of Hammond-based staffing firm Staff Source is hosting alcohol server training classes later this month to help people complete a required step before obtaining a bartender license.
Staff Source's Hospitality Services Group is holding the classes at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 27 at the Staff Source office, 2500 165th St., in Hammond.
Individuals interested in taking the class must have a servers permit first.
Licenses are valid for three years and allow a person to serve alcoholic beverages in places where it is legal to serve them. Employment opportunities may be available once classes are completed.
The training cost is $25 and only cash will be accepted.
