Livemercial joins Northwest Indiana Forum

Livemercial has joined the Northwest Indiana Forum, said Forum President and Chief Executive Officer Vince Galbiati. Forum members address the greatest economic, environmental and governmental issues facing the region.

Livemercial is a multichannel marketing company and just recently moved to the old Natural Ovens Bakery Dome in Valparaiso. The facility is used as a technology center and innovative marketing hub for clients and the public as well.

Funded by membership contributions and grants, the Northwest Indiana Forum is a nonprofit regional environmental and economic development membership organization serving northwest Indiana.

Leadership academy sessions begin Feb. 6

Corporate rates are available for Leadership Academy of the Southwest Suburbs professional training seminars at Saint Xavier University’s Orland Park campus beginning Feb. 6.

The program will be a series of eight half-day sessions led by certified instructors and regional business leaders who provide real-world experiences. Rates for two or more people from the same corporation are now $200 per person.

LASS trains and motivates local business professionals who wish to advance their leadership capabilities and strengthen their businesses. Participants network and build relationships with current and future area leaders.

Women's networking group meets Friday

Setting goals and benchmarks for 2009 will be the topic of the Professional Women’s Network session at 8 a.m. Friday at The Egg and I, 222 Dixie Highway

This program will help business women set a plan to achieve the earnings they expect. Women will discuss appropriate target markets, using referral sources effectively and analyzing participation in networking groups. Participants will discover new ideas as well as gain refreshed commitment to those processes they are familiar with but don’t practice on a regular basis.
