George Ross, CLU, ChFC, of Crown Point, has been elected president of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-Indiana Inc. Ross has been in the financial services profession for 23 years and represents the Prudential.

Michael Tucker, of Crown Point, has been named chief information officer at Valparaiso University. Tucker has served as Valparaiso's interim chief information officer since January, and will provide strategic direction for the operations of Valparaiso's Office of Information Technology.

Valparaiso University has named Becky Walkowiak, a law enforcement officer and administrator with more than 30 years of

experience in the field, as chief of its police department. She replaces Ed Lloyd, who is retiring after serving as chief of the department for 21 years.

Rick Dyer was recently hired as manager of sales and marketing at The American Group of Constructors (TAG) of Hammond. Dyer oversees the sales and marketing of TAG's nine divisions. Previous to joining TAG, Dyer worked in sales at AMS Mechanical Systems in Highland.

Alexa Gilkerson and Stacey Schoon were promoted to sales manager at Western-Southern Financial Group. Scott Steffeck, Debra Aimone, Nancy Samardzija and Andrea Winfrey have joined Western-Southern as sales representatives.

The Board of Directors of Graycor Inc. in Homewood has elected Steven Gray as vice chairman and Matthew Gray as president of Graycor Inc. Steven Gray most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will continue to serve as chief financial officer. Matthew Gray most recently served as executive vice president of Graycor Inc. and chairman of Graycor Construction Company, a subsidiary of Graycor Inc.
