Bosak Auto Group, in Northwest Indiana since 1926, recently bought Team Honda in Michigan City, which now is officially Bosak Honda.
"The purchase of our second franchise in the area gives Honda owners and buyers around Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan a great advantage," said Greg Bosak, president of Bosak Honda, in a press release.
The combined inventory of the two stores provides the Bosak Group with large inventory to better serve customers, he said.
"We're up and operating in Michigan City and look forward to serving people in that community for years to come, like we have in Northwest Indiana. We're there for the long haul," Bosak said.
Team Honda employees are now employed by The Bosak Auto Group, which believes in extensive training, Bosak said.
"It's like kicking off a whole new brand and our staff is pumped up about it," says Alan Neblung, who has sold Hondas for 25 years, with 11 years at the Michigan City dealership.
Between the two Honda dealerships, the stores have won the President’s Award for customer satisfaction nine years. The award is based on excellent customer service in sales, the service department and other areas.
The Bosak family owns and operates Bosak Honda in Highland, and recently the Dodge brand joined Chrysler and Jeep at Bosak's Merrillville location.
