Ronald Vlasic, regional vice president for Kimpton hotels and formerly of Merrillville, was honored with the 2008 State Leadership Award by the American Hotel & Lodging Association. Vlasic received the award for his work on behalf of the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association.
