The annual R.O.S.E. Awards, presented by the Lake County Convention and Visitors Bureau, will be 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at the new Venue at the Horseshoe Casino.

The ceremony was to be held Sept. 24 at Horseshoe Casino, but due to the closure of the Indiana Welcome Center and the executive offices of the Visitors Bureau, they were rescheduled.

Mike Flannery, head of behavioral sciences at Purdue University Calumet, will be the master of ceremonies.

The R.O.S.E. (Recognition of Service Excellence) Awards selection committee received more than 100 nominations for the annual awards. Nominees include front-line service employees throughout the region who showed dedication, excellent customer service and a positive attitude throughout the year.
