Dr. Bruce Williams, who practices in Merrillville and Valparaiso, was elected the president of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Williams also presented a lecture American Podiatric Medical Associations National Scientific Seminar.

Thomas Allison has been appointed president and chief executive officer for the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago Service Corporation (FSCSC). Most recently, Allison served as chief executive officer of USA Capital Group, a commercial mortgage loan company, and he is currently chairman of the board of directors of International Bedding.

Anna Egofske, graduate of Crown Point High School, recently joined Seattle Sutton's Healthy Eating as communications Specialist for the Ottawa, Ill.-based company. She's will help participate in event and Internet marketing, distributor relations, client follow up and various marketing related duties.
