HAMMOND | Visitors and residents of the South Shore can now submit their Recognition of Service Excellence (ROSE) Awards nomination from a smart phone.

By visiting with a smart phone, people can click on “Nominate someone today,” where they will be prompted to fill in the nomination form.

Guests also can scan the QR code located on the ROSE Awards rack cards available at restaurants and hotels.

The ROSE Awards honor front-line employees for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.

Nominations should be as specific as possible and the descriptions should be more than 40 words but less than 200. One dozen ROSE winners will be announced at an awards dinner slated for Sept. 24. Nominations will be accepted through August.
