Big Lots plans to open store in September

SCHERERVILLE | Big Lots is planning to open a story at 707 U.S. 41.

The store at the old Circuit City location is scheduled to open Sept. 23, according to a company spokeswoman.

The retailer, which sells closeout and overstock merchandise, does not plan on closing any stores in the area, according to the spokeswoman.
