CHESTERTON | A new bookstore, The Living Room, has opened at 135 S. Calumet Ave.
The region's only C28 distributor, The Living Room also offers an array of jewelry, accessories, and apparel. In addition, the business serves coffee while providing free WiFi and spots to lounge.
There are special holiday hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through December. The Living Room is open Tuesdays through Saturdays. Future events include poetry and spoken word performances, acoustic concerts, and story time for children.
