Business plans focus of two-part workshop

HAMMOND | The Hammond INnovation Center and Northwest Indiana SBDC present "Business Plans 101" in a two-part Lunch and Learn workshop.

Part one will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 7. Jamal Husain, of Purdue University Calumet, will review reasons for writing your business plan, the basic structure of a typical business plan and what information you will need to research and gather to make an effective business plans.

Part two will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 5. Husain will review writing techniques to help you effectively compose an intelligent and east to understand business plan, typical formats for business plans and important errors to watch for.

Cost is $20 for each session, and both will be at the Hammond INnovation Center 5209 Hohman Ave.
