MERRILLVILLE | On April 25, the Indiana University Northwest School of Business and Economics and the IU Northwest Business Alliance will welcome Garrison Wynn as the speaker for the 2013 Business Speakers Series Luncheon at the Radisson Hotel Star Plaza.

Doors open at 11 a.m. and lunch is served at noon in the Grand Metropolitan room of the Radisson, located at 800 E. 81st Ave.

Wynn helps people make the jump from being great at what they do, to developing the qualities it takes to be consistently chosen for the job. He gets them to understand why their products, services, or leadership styles — or those of their competitor — are selected.

He has a background in manufacturing, telecomm, and financial services and toured as a professional stand-up comedian.

This annual event serves as a fundraiser to benefit the business school, which is the only public business program in Northwest Indiana to be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International.

Tickets are $45 per person or $400 for a table of 10, which includes eight corporate representatives and two business and economic students. Sponsorship packages are also available.

To RSVP, visit: Attendees must register before April 19. No walk-ins will be accepted.

For more information, call (219) 980-6633.
