CALUMET CITY | Denny’s, 1380 S. Torrence Ave. in Calumet City, will celebrate its recent remodeling with an opening celebration at 9 a.m. Thursday. Located at 1380 S. Torrence Ave.

Denny’s will give the first 50 diners Thursday with a free Original Grand Slam. The first 25 diners at noon will get a free burger and fries, and the first 25 diners at 6 p.m. will get a free entrée.

 “We’ve been a key part of this community for nearly 40 years, and we couldn’t think of a better way to mark this occasion than with a Grand Slam® of a celebration.” said David Kahre, Calumet City Denny’s franchisee.
