MERRILLVILLE | Kathy Cortopassi, president of Voice to Print Captioning LLC, will host a free open house and demonstration of realtime court reporting and captioning technology from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Purdue Technology Center of Northwest Indiana, 9800 Connecticut Drive, where she is a tenant.
Cortopassi is hosting the open house in conjuction with National Court Reporting and Captioning Week, which runs through Feb. 23. The campaign was announced by the The National Court Reporters Association, the country’s leading organization representing stenographic court reporters and broadcast captioners.
The awareness week pulls together a nationwide effort to highlight the contributions of stenographic court reporters and captioners and to showcase the career opportunities.
Voice to Print Captioning was recognized with an Economic Development through Growth and Entrepreneurship Award from the Indiana Small Business Development Center in 2012.
