MUNSTER | For the 10th consecutive year, Community Hospital has earned a clinical performance honor from a national health care ratings company.
Community was named a Healthgrades Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence, according to a news release. Community Hospital is the only Indiana hospital to be recognized for 10 consecutive years as being among the top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide for clinical performance, the release stated.
The study identifies hospitals with the best overall clinical performance across 28 medical diagnoses and procedures.
“Our physicians, nurses and staff work hard to bring a great healthcare experience to every patient, every visit,” CEO Donald Fesko said. “This latest Healthgrades study confirms our ongoing commitment to quality care - that we are listening and we are tuned into our patients’ changing needs.”
Community Hospital, part of Community Healthcare System, has been recognized since 2008 by Healthgrades as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals and has various other honors from the ratings company.
