MERILLVILLE | All educators in areas where Centier has a presence are invited to attend the free eigth annual Financial Literacy Fair for Educators from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 16 at Centier’s Corporate Centre, 600 E 84th Ave. Space is limited to 50 attendees.

Educators from community organizations will find the materials interesting, easy to follow and very valuable for their clients. All will leave with free financial capability materials that can be taught to their students or clients.

There will be a module on the FDIC’s Money Smart materials. Other presenters will be from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Indiana Attorney General’s Office, Junior Achievement, Northwest Indiana Education Service Center and the Office of Financial Education, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in Washington.
