Engineer to speak about experiences in China

HAMMOND | The ASM Calumet Chapter will have a dinner meeting Thursday at Purdue University Calumet's Student Union & Library Building, second floor, Alumni Hall.

Networking will start at 6 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:30 and the technical meeting will start at 7:30.

Nassos A. Lazaridis, research engineer at ArcelorMittal, will speak about his experiences working for Hunan Valin Steel Tube & Wire Co. in China.

The society is dedicated to serving the materials science and engineering profession.

Guests are welcome. Dinner is $20. Make dinner reservations by noon Thursday by calling (219) 922-2877. Reservations are not needed if attending the technical meeting only.
