Amazing Lash Studio has opened its first Indiana parlor in the Highland Grove shopping center near the border of Highland and Schererville.

The eyelash studio opened its "Highland/Schererville" location at 10441C Indianapolis Blvd. in the outdoor shopping mall that's anchored by Target, Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods and the 2nd & Charles bookstore. It's located in one of the strip malls along Indianapolis Boulevard next to Potbelly's and MOD Pizza.

"Amazing Lash Studio provides patented eyelash extension services at an affordable price with a membership model for long-term maintenance," the business said a statement. "The brand mission is to create lasting beauty and confidence through passion, dedication and excellence so that clients look and feel amazing."

The studio, owned by Laura Cotton, has 12 private rooms where stylists install lightweight, semi-permanent eyelashes or fill them in for monthly maintenance. The Houston-based beauty chain, which has more than 150 locations across the country, also carries a selection of retail products.

Amazing Lash Studio is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
