Fall program at PUC to focus on white-collar crime
HAMMOND | White-collar crime is the focus of a professional certificate program Purdue University Calumet's School of Management is introducing this fall.
Intended for business owners, accountants, law enforcement officials, lawyers and other professionals who hold at least a baccalaureate degree, the Forensic Accounting & Fraud Investigation Certificate is a cohort program of four courses scheduled Saturday mornings on campus, for 10 weeks beginning Sept. 24.
Program registration is underway, with enrollment being filled on a first-come, first-served basis until the Sept. 9 deadline.
The courses will focus on white-collar crime -- understanding it, becoming more aware of it and learning how to deter it.
Program participants can earn Continuing Professional Education hours.
