Fifth Third Bank has donated $28,875 to Ready NWI to support a video project for the Ready to Hire/Ready to Work plan geared towards high school students.
Funding from Fifth Third Bank will support the creation of video clips featuring up to 175 young employees from 25 businesses in Northwest Indiana who will describe their career choices, work, skills and education or credentials needed for their job, according to a news release.
These video clips will be downloadable from the Ready NWI web site, the One Region web site, the participating Ready NWI schools, and the Northwest Indiana Workforce Board and Center of Workforce Innovations websites by fall 2013.
The Ready NWI partnership supports the unique aspects of community, school, and student, and embraces a commitment to regional thinking and acting in order to ensure prosperity by meeting the skill and education needs of employers throughout Northwest Indiana.
