Group hosts a networking event with business leaders

WHITING | The Develop Committee of Emerge South Shore will host an event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 at Bulldog Brewing Co., 1409 119th St.

The event will feature brief presentations from and networking opportunities with three Northwest Indiana business leaders who have balanced their full-time careers with leadership roles in local nonprofit and civic organizations. 

Scheduled to participate in the event are Tom Keilman, director of public and government affairs at BP; Dave Bochnowski, chairman and CEO of Peoples Bank; Nancy Adams, owner of Strongbow Inn and a Porter County commissioner; and John P. Reed, partner in the firm of Abrahamson, Reed & Bilse and member of the Munster Town Council. 

The event is free and open to all Emerge South Shore members as well as those interested in learning more about Emerge South Shore.
