VALPARAISO | Dave and Debbie Cook, owners of Valparaiso's Hoosier Bat Co., will receive the Charlie Hum Club Service Award at the 67th annual Pitch and Hit Club Banquet Sunday in Lombard, Ill.
The Cooks will be part of a program that also will honor former White Sox manager Tony La Russa, Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Goose Gossage, Washington Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo and Hall of Fame broadcaster Milo Hamilton.
