INDIANAPOLIS | The comprehensive immigration reform currently making its way through Congress will have implications for all U.S. businesses.

A seminar from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, "The Employer’s Guide to Comprehensive Immigration Reform" will run from 9 a.m. to noon (EDT) Aug. 8 at the Indiana Chamber Conference Center in downtown Indianapolis at 115 W. Washington Street, Suite 850 S.

Agenda topics include current status of federal comprehensive immigration reform legislation; provisions affecting all U.S. employers; employment verification (I-9 and E-Verify); new options for lower-skilled workers; changes to existing immigration programs for highly-skilled labor; and changes for entrepreneurs and those employed in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) disciplines.

Cost is $199 for Indiana Chamber members or $229 for non-members. Companies sending one attendee may send a second for half price.
