CHICAGO | The Indiana Society of Chicago will honor DePauw University and Lee Hamilton at its 107th anniversary dinner at 5 p.m. Saturday in the Imperial Ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel at Chicago's Millennium Park, 200 N. Columbus Drive.

DePauw is celebrating its 175th anniversary. Hamilton, a veteran statesman, a 1952 graduate of DePauw and now director of the Center on Congress at Indiana University, will be honored as the society's Hoosier of the Year.

The program will feature entertainment by American English, the Beatles tribute band voted Best Tribute Band as well as Illinois Entertainmer of the Year.

The evening also will feature Miss Indiana 2012 MerrieBeth Cox and the presentation of colors by the Culver Cadets.

The society was founded in 1905 by former Indiana residents George Ade and John T. McCutcheon, who with other former Hoosiers arranged a dinner to show respect for Indiana institutions and leaders.
