The Indiana Toll Road will shed the "i-Zoom" label and begin using the "E-ZPass" brand on signs and materials for the public.

ITR Concession Co. will take down i-Zoom signs and banners on the Toll Road and replace them with those bearing the E-ZPass name and its purple color scheme, the company said in a news release issued Friday.

The changes are expected to be complete next month.

The goal of the move is to make electronic tolling on the Indiana Toll Road more recognizable to out-of-state motorists, which represent about 65 percent of total users, the company said.

The customer service center telephone number remains the same at (888) 496-6690, but a new website address,, has been launched.

The i-Zoom branding and its orange and gray color scheme have been used since 2007. Indiana will join 14 other states using the E-ZPass name.

The ITR Concession Co. has been a member of the E-ZPass Interagency Group since 2007, which provides the Indiana Toll Road with electronic toll collection compatibility with a large number of transponders located across the country.

The ITRCC manages the 157-mile Indiana Toll Road spanning northern Indiana.
