Indy honored for sister cities program

Sister Cities International has named Indianapolis its 2012 best overall program for populations of more than 500,000. The city has established eight such relationships since 2008.


State to hold national security conference

Indianapolis will host to an event expected to draw hundreds of investment protection industry professionals to the area. The North American Securities Administrators Association estimates attendees of its October annual conference will pump more than $500,000 into the local economy.


Airport to announce parking changes

Indianapolis Airport Authority officials are set to unveil "enhancements" to parking facilities Monday at the airport. The organization says the changes will affect the terminal garage and economy lot.


Lake City Bank planning new office

Warsaw-based Lake City Bank is planning to build a nearly $3 million facility in Fishers. The building will be the institution's second Indianapolis market office.


Governor names professional licensing head

Gov. Mike Pence has tapped Nicholas Rhoad to be executive director of the Professional Licensing Agency. He most recently served as director of business development for the Indiana Manufacturers Association.
