A free live broadcast of Barnes & Thornburg LLP's next New Economy New Rules seminar is scheduled from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Hammond INnovation Center, 5209 Hohman Ave., Hammond, and the Purdue Technology Center, 9800 Connecticut Drive, Merrillville.

Panelists will discuss "STEM Education and the Next Generation Workforce: Are We Prepared?" As global competition increases, parents and educators still face many challenges and pressures to adequately prepare our students for future success while employers struggle to attract qualified professionals in STEM-related fields.
