CROWN POINT | The Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable recently announced the election of new officers to its Executive Committee.

Joe Coar, of Tonn & Blank Construction LLC, was elected chairman, while William Satterlee III, of Hoeppner, Wagener & Evans LLP, was nominated vice chairman.

Dewey Pearman, of the Construction Advancement Foundation, was chosen as secretary, Tim Ross, of Franciscan Alliance, was designated treasurer and Andrea Pearman, CEO of Diversified Marketing Strategies Inc., was named interim executive director.

Beginning in March, NWIBRT will partner with the Construction Advancement Foundation of Northwest Indiana to offer a Supervisory Training Program, which was developed by the Associated General Contractors of America. The curriculum for this 10-part program focuses on construction supervision.

The Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable is an independent, nonprofit council of local firms committed to the improvement of construction and maintenance projects in Northwest Indiana. Its purpose is to promote safety, quality and cost-effective solutions to challenges faced by owners, contractors and labor in the region.
