HAMMOND | Practices for operating ethically and legally within nonprofit and for-profit industries will be discussed during Purdue University Calumet’s fourth annual Corporate Governance Roundtable at 6:30 p.m. April 29 in Room 130 of the Powers Computer Education Building.
Comprising the roundtable are Kris Krouse, executive director of Shirley Heinze Land Trust Inc.; Andrea Proulx Buinicki, president and philanthropic advisor of Giving Focus; Apryl Niksch, founder of the Harvest Circle Workshop of northwest Indiana; and Jane Lump, a communication consultant.
Admission is free. The program is intended to provide insight about best practices within corporate governance.
Purdue Calumet’s Department of Accounting is hosting the roundtable. The Powers Computer Education Building is located in the campus’ north wing, accessible from 169th Street.
